Back to topQ: How do I add eMusic downloads to my MP3 player or mobile phone?
A: All eMusic music and audiobook files are in the MP3 format and should play on any digital device capable of playing audio files. Consult your device manual for detailed steps on syncing and transferring MP3 files. We strongly recommend using the eMusic Download Manager to manage your eMusic downloads.
There are two steps to getting music onto your player:
- • Download/sync MP3 files with your music playing program (iTunes and Windows Media Player, WinAmp).
- • Sync your music software with your player. This places the music files onto your player.
The first step is best accomplished with the eMusic Download Manager. Once you've synced your files with iTunes or Window Media Player (make sure you enable the Download Manager to do this automatically when you install) it's just a matter of connecting your player to your computer and syncing as you normally would. If you're using a player for the first time, consult your device instructions for help.
