Davol's music is an interesting blend of several genres, including New Age, Smooth Jazz and Electronica. He does a magnificent job at fusing these genres together, creating a style that is modern, progressive and unique.

I Write this in 2006, so 1992 was 14 years ago so fast the time passes. And Some music are lasting. He reminds me somehow to the freshnes and simplicity of Jarre in the beginning but with this 90'sound you can hear, but anyway you can immediatly recognize his own signature. It's not really a evolution but really a mature album who shows this composer at his best with the sound tools of the nineties, I always liked these simple melodies melted in these synths fine arrangements who helped me to visualize some amazing landscapes or other voyages around the beauties of this world. If you like this, check the new releases he made "open book" and "a day like no others" this is a great evolution but the signature remains the same.
