A concert that defined the soul of Black America sociality and politically. The music reprensented in it's clarity the vastness of black music and it's continuous evolution. A powerful and moving experience which had moments of pure musical magic with joy and happiness interlaced with the then young nortorious Los Angeles Crips meanancing the floor of the colosium in which they happily displaced the Los Angeles Police Department from the arena some where between Rufus Thomas's Funky and Issac Hayes's Theme.
