Classic

This is a beautiful recording that I keep on coming back to time and time again. Karmic Light is probably the best track and what a track it is. Highly recommended.

Aural Lucid Dream

This is my favorite Tetsu Inoue album, and also my all-time favorite album to fall asleep to, which is a huge compliment. It is THE soundtrack of passing from consciousness to the dreamworld!

You know Inoue?

You don't?!! Then this is a great place to start with this ambient classic from an electronic genius. Hard to get on CD and there’s no wonder with an album of this quality. Lush organic soundscapes and sublime minimal rhythms make this masterpiece essential. Don’t bother listening to snippets as it doesn’t do justice to the subconscious voyage this album takes you. Download it now and make sure it’s the last album you listen to before going to sleep tonight. ;-)

Tetsu Inoue’s first solo work on Fax and a highly sought-after collectible. Some of the tracks bear a passing resemblance to Brian Eno’s early generative experiments (Discreet Music, Evening Star) but Inoue’s take is decidedly contemporary, with pillowy, mellifluous synth passages occasionally accented by subtle beats and lilting melodies. – Sean Cooper
