Oh Come All Ye New Age Music Fans

O Come all ye fans of synthesizers mixed with reggae, choruses, pan flute, and sappy guitar. I like Liona Boyd's playing but tribal drums+synthesizer? This is one of those albums you would just throw the #### away after 2 minutes of listening. Damn - why didn't I listen to the tracks before downloading?!?!?!

This is an enjoyable Christmas album, and will go in the line-up with my Celtic instrumental Christmas albums come November. [b]O Holy Night[/b] is my favorite Christmas song, and my favorite track here, as well.

Christmas Dreams is a collection of guitar-based Christmas music that is based on Liona Boyd’s mixture of classical guitar and new age. Although she has another holiday album, this features vocalist Roger Whittaker as well as some vocals from Boyd herself. Anyone familiar with Boyd will probably enjoy this, and anyone who likes the idea of a new age classical guitarist performing Christmas songs should try to give this a listen. – Bradley Torreano
