Artsy-fartsy rap?
I wish I could have listened to the entire album before I downloaded this because just listening to a :30 second clip doesn't really give you an idea about the quality of the lyrics. The music is very good and pretty experimental (this is why I downloaded it), but the lyrics fall flat. On most of the songs, the vocals are either drowned out by the music or the lyrics just make no sense. The lyrics play out like you're sitting in a science class - rapping about chemical compositions, etc. What?! In a nutshell, this album has no edge, because of the lyrics. And in rap music, if the lyrics aren't up to par, the music isn't either.
