Rumor has it, although unverifiable via fantasy/Emusic's shoddy meta data...that the quasi legendary David Axelrod was honing his skills as a producer at these late 50's sessions before getting hired by Capitol where he made mega hits with Lou Rawls, Cannonball Adderly and let's not even mention his weird pseudo Electric Prunes psychedelic hebraic jazz fusion phase folks...
