I dig it
definitely more than just droning chords... there is some interesting ebb and flow going on here. somewhere between brian eno airport style and autechre's ambient pieces

Being a big fan of Speedy J in his manic and more melodic moments, have been hunting these 2 albums down as they are rare and expensive to find but glad I didn't pay full whack. Fairly standard 'brooding ambient' but nothing of the Speedy J genius. Maybe a 'grower' or only for completists.
I've been listening to more and more electronic music lately, and this album and it's brother, "9598 I" are just right for moving through a few hours of work. It's ambient without being too quiet, rhythmic without being too distracting. Highly recommended.
