Alexa Still has done a beautiful job of finding and bringing out the colors and gestures that make each of these pieces a little gem. Considering that there are so many, this is quite a substantial challenge. She has great control, artistry and a sense of style, which allow her to personalize each short piece, which a fine player must do--while remaining as true as possible to the composer's notated desires.
