Loved it...

I found Flogging Molly because I heard that the singer of Fastway (Dave King) was fronting this band on "that metal show" I was very pleased when i heard their music & look forward to getting more of it!!!

a little too country

knd232003

I found this a bit too much Celtic country instead of Celtic rock. I think they really did improve from here.

Way better than drunken lullabies

Both great cd's, but why this one isn't the pick over the two I do not understand. both some damn good stuff.

Fantastic!

If this doesn't get you up and dancing then there's probably something wrong with you. You should probably see a musician about that or at least a doctor.

Celtic Punk

dsnyderman

Flogging Molly plays celtic music at punk speed. The result is great and a lot of fun to listen to. This album has no bad cuts in my opinion.

Swagger

Scallywag

If your a fan of Celtic influenced rock, (Pogues, Dropkick Murphys) then you've probably already heard of Flogging Molly, and if you haven't you better hurry up and get this! There are songs that will keep a Guinness soaked party rockin & there are songs to listen to while your just sitting back enjoying a pint or two..... Great stuff...

Nothing like a traditional Irish band from California. All cynicism aside, Flogging Molly’s hybrid of street punk and pub-rock is a ruckus of punch-drunk energy. Combining the folk of the Pogues with an Oi! blast by way of the Dropkick Murphys, their debut full-length Swagger provides a brew of rowdy party music that’s perfect for any barroom brawl. – Mike DaRonco
