Discovery
I was going to start out describing how I discovered Banco De Gaia in about '95 on a complation titled "one A.D." on a late and foldly remembered little record label. Then my thoughts about first hearing "Shanti (Black Mountain Mix)" merged with memories of how much self-discovery coincided with listening to much of the music covered on these two albums. I believe the artist behind Banco de Gaia, Toby Marks, has captured something unique and yet shared in the soul of all humanity with his music and I hope you discover this also.
