America needs the Crucifucks

mEMUSIC-005374CF

It's bands like this that were the only good by-product of the Reagan years. There are bands like this today, somewhere...

This is the crucifucks,if you like them this is them, raw obnoxious punk. I saw them in the 80's at JB's in Kent,Oh and they were great.

WTF?

It's amazing in the sense that people actually like them. Can I get a refund on my 29 downloads for this album? Seriously.

Classic to modern. I found this LP in canada when I was about 15 and could not express my appreciation enough for their outlook. I now find myself @ 30 thinking this band is timeless. A must have for any punk rocker and free thinker. DOWNLOAD IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!

2 of the greatest albums of all time.

bikepower1234

This is actually 2 albums. Tracks 1 thru 15 is their first self-titled album, originally released in 1984. These are great anarchistic punk songs. Track 16 is from the 'MRR Welcome to 1984' and is a gem in much of the same vein as their first album. Tracks 17 thru 29 is from their second album, 'Wisconsin' which I believe was released in 1986. The songs from 'Wisconsin' are a little longer and slower with less distortion. Some of the songs almost have a folk feel, yet are still quite punk. I recommend downloading all 29 tracks. This covers all the crucifucks discography sans the L.D. Eye album which was a reunion album (kind of, as it only contains the singer, doc dart, from the original line-up) that came out in the late 90's. If you are a crucifucks fan, I recommend skipping the L.D. Eye album and looking into '26 doc corbin dart - the messiah' (also available on emusic). It's the newest album by the singer of the crucifucks and is a real treat.

Crucifucks

One of the bext damn political punk albums ever

Recommended Albums

They Say All Media Guide

Collecting both Crucifucks albums for a 29-song experience, Our Will is just the right thing for the budding politically aware punk fan on your gift list, assuming Dart’s vocals won’t freak said person out. Cover art and other flyers and things from the band’s career appear, including the notorious photo of a slain Michigan policeman on the back of the case that later landed the group and label in hot legal water. The one extra number that shows up is “Annual Report,” originally from the Maximum Rock and Roll Presents…Welcome to 1984 compilation. It’s a straightforward enough crunch with just enough of a stuttering shift in rhythm on the chorus to make it more memorable. – Ned Raggett
