Bring Back Our Lists, eMu!
The only problem with Sirenbrain's review, apart from that I don't agree with it, is that this is the *first* album by Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band; the original collaboration was to do a set of Christmas songs and a matching tour. It's unlikely that you have other Christmas albums like this; the arrangements use traditional instruments, but not in a traditional way. A good track to try if you want a sample is Angels From The Realms of Glory. Maddy Prior is better known for Steeleye Span, of course -- but she's in fine form here. It's worth seeking out the two Carnival Band albums without Maddy Prior (not on eMu), too, and the third collaboration.
