A Reflective New Age Debut
This is the first initial 'New Age' instrumental offering by Californian pianist Vivian Khor. As with her later albums, Vivian does all the heavy lifting from composition to studio mastering. If your enamored of the works by Ann Sweeten, John Adorney, and Ryan Farish. Then Vivian Khor will seamlessly mesh with these other great artists. As stated in the title, her music can at times be exotic, pensive, and reflective. Sometimes, she offers a myriad of impressions all at once. She is not as well known as David Lanz, or Suzanne Cianni but is every bit as technically capable as her musical peers. On her later offerings, many cuts are enhanced with synths, also programmed with her own software, I'm told. If you like post-modern piano music, and realize the limits of the 'New Age' genre, by all means check this artist out, and the others mentioned.
