I agree with Circumambient that the latter tracks are indeed darker and more captivating. But overall a nice album for us space fans by a true master of the art.

A strange mix of new age and space music, the several first songs mix them. After that it gets better--if, like me, you enjoy ambient space music. It gets a bit dark by the final two tracks. It's a very bizzarre album since it goes to extremes within the genre and is in no way put together with any coherency. Three stars is generous and reflects the good space music in the four or so tracks that reflect the Chronicles approach that seems to be, unfortunately, slipping away from Serrie's style.
