I've been listening to this cd for years now almost every night. I put it on (repeat) when I go to bed. I LOVE the cricket. It doesn't annoy me at all. It's a beautiful lullaby in sounds of nature at night. The Almighty knew what he was doing when they were created.
Outstanding album, it reminds me of the nights I tried to loose myself in the wilds of Northern Wisconsin. The stream, crickets,owl, night birds and tree frogs, they're all there.
Not bad, but the cricket does ruin it all for me as well. It is not even a relaxing, TRUE cricket sound. A very tinny cricket. Maybe even something added in later at studio. I thoroughly enjoyed their "Tropical Night" so much more. Check it out.
It sounds relaxing, but there is just one thing annoying me: a cricket. He is not able to find him a female during the full hour! But I know why; the ladies are not impressed by hearing a thousand times the same.
this is truth in advertising, mm-hmm. so many of the woodlands sounds you crave... none of the mosquitoes, bears, or loud drunken campers to interfere with your virtual forest adventure.
