The mix of night insects, gentle surf and occasional rain is entirely enchanting -- so relaxing. There is no other nature recording that fits the night time like this one does for me. There is nothing not to like here. I loop it for maximum effect.

I did not become annoyed with the dripping on the left channel. I notice it, but it reminds me of water dripping off a soffit or eaves and landing in a small puddle or collecting within a container of some sorts. I think it is perfect the way it is due to its realistic nature. Sounds just like I have my window open, at night, on the beach. Only bad thing is I'm not. :(
I really like the overall sound of this - great mix of ocean, insects and rain really carries your mind away to a secluded cabin on a tropical island. However, there is some annoying dripping sound in the left chanel. I used Audacity to delete the left channel then set the right channel to mono, thus eliminating the sound. Also, when the rain starts it sounds like it is falling onto a canopy and into puddles. In my mind I picture an awning over the porch and a bucket for rain water to account for these sounds.
