I was excited about getting a live album of these guys they are an incredible band, but this recording sounds like it was done on a micro-cassette recorder. The bottom end was recorded so hot it distorts and booms throughout the whole recording. Save your credits.
This is the album that converted me to Gogol Bordello. It successfully expresses the frantic madness that is Gogol live. And it has the non album track "troubled freinds" so there you go. Reservations on the sound quality aside, I do not understand the negative review here at all.
I love the idea of the eMusic Live stuff but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. The sound quality on most that I've listened to is horrible. Gogol Bordello is amazing live but this is by no means a good representation. Save your download credits.
