This is the soundtrack of a film, it is not meant to be exotic in some strange 'pearl-of-the-orient' way. If you saw the film and liked the music then you will like this CD, it is very nice.

The song Chin Chin.... is very fun. At the end of the movie it is played with a drag queen singing it .
The music's okay, but...
... there's nothing "exotic" or at least "different" about the songs on this album. With very few exeptions (e.g. Krishna Hare) it might just as well be any mainstream album. Except for the language not being English throughout.
