Byron Metcalf And Mark Seelig With Steve Roach, Wachuma’s Wave
2004 | Label: Spotted Peccary

This collaboration is positively haunting, summoning ancient spirits via state of the art studio wizardry and live playing.

Paleolithic Passion

I really enjoyed this entire album. I started listening while reading one of those great books about a certain cave-woman, and now I can't read those books without it. The music brings me back twenty thousand years.

Excellent!

Circumambient

This is what I listen to ambient for. Don't let the Native American-type name fool you. This is awesome, thought provoking meditation music. There is an occasional beat behind the space-music chant, which just adds to the work. I've downloaded hundreds of ambient works here and very few come close to this. Really gets into the subconscious and puts you into a fat jar of ether.
