Edgy, Risky, No holding Back
A must download on the track 2 "Texas". This funky tune is still very fresh and sounds new before it became a way of recognition and sort of their anthem song for this strangely enough, NJ rooted band. Their talent and passion with a NO HOLDING BACK attitude comes out in track 5 "Hey My Friend" where they let it all hang out with tight grooves. They are relaxed and allow their true talent to shine in this one. The last track, a cover tune "Don Key Hotei" is an intelligent way to close out this show and demonstrates their confidence in their own arrangement and lyrics to open this show. They even opened up with one of their weaker songs which is very RISKY for a debut at a major festival. Most bands open with cover tunes in order to draw the crowd to the stage at many festivals but not SCC!!!! They can stand on their own incredible funkjazz jammy rock, soulfoul and EDgy songs!!
