Another Label who does not want my money
Yet again, another label who does not want my money because I live in the UK. Unless Emusic gets rid of these "not available in the UK" tracks I will probably take my money somewhere else.
Cool or what?
This all acoustic effort from London's A3, a dance group that mixes techno with country-blues, one-up's everything that I have ever seen on MTV Unplugged. Even while playing bare bones arrangements (acoustic guitar, drums, banjo and harmonica), the grooves are thick and heavy. YEAR ZERO creeps along with a steady shuffle that just sticks. The exceptional harmonica work really drives it in. The JOHN PRINE song SPEED OF THE SOUND OF LONELINESS not only does PRINE justice, it also finesses the band's country-folk sound. Finally, the stripped-down sound of WOKE UP THIS MORNING is a radical departure from the electronic version most of us associate with THE SOPRANOS. In short, DOWNLOAD THIS NOW!!!
