Your new favorite band!!
This disc is a MUST own. Now! Erika is simply the best singer/songwriter to come along since Exene from X. This disc is my pick of theirs so far. If you love real rock and need a new hero, you've found her.

These Bastards are part Garage, Part Blues & Part Soul, with a touch of power trio power pop thrown it. Of their records, this is a the best one to start with. Don't skip any songs. Love them, see them.
a voice to shake and break walls. Erica occasionally channels Janice with a powerful bluesy wale. best straight up rock and roll band around right now? maybe. why they aren't better known is beyond me.
after i got this i had it in my rotation for months. years later, it still holds up and i think its a powerful rock album. and i love her voice!
This girl can wail.
Got this and Mountain last month. Innovative Southern rock. The Will Song is catchy enough to get you hooked.
Best cd2start out with. Saw them in Asheville2night. Cant describe how powerful, tight, and meaningful it was. Erika sounds better live than when recorded, f 'n amazing.Virtually no one will go wrong downloading this&all their cds, this is the best rock music for years and years. Almost every song is wide open like "smells like teen spirit" only more grounded in your soul. But at the same time, the audience had a surprisingly limited response! WTF?!#!*! Asheville is a cool place!?! Would somebody please get these guys publicity/airtime?
I'd never heard of HB before e-music. Love them. And to the person who recommended Cold War Kids - great call, thanks.
This record is a 'must have' for anyone who likes straight aheasd rock..outstanding debut record.
Give it at least a listen...you won't be disappointed. Great debut from a band to watch. Erika Wennerstrom's voice & the band's vibe remind me of another Ohioan rocker; the great Chrissie Hynde.
