Sweet Indie Necture...
These Bay Area indie rebels have toured with such bands as, Pavement, Super Furry Animals, and R.E.M among others. All thier influences and experiences come to full ripeness (yes I did) in their latest album "Shutdown the Sun". You get drawn in immediately, sometimes a bit Emo but mostly flying high. The harmonizing lands somewhere between the Animals, and the Beach Boys, which ain't to bad. Overall it's an amazingly addictive album, which surprises in a Pavement sort of way. I recommend this or any Oranger album as an essential part of your Indie collection.
