Even stranger than Magog Agog, Era Vulgaris forges its own path with marvelous results. The metal quotient has decreased somewhat in order to make room for even more individualized weirdness. The guitar-riffs and keyboard melodies here are often beautiful, yet sinister and chilling at the same time. Simple-yet-effective grooves are allowed the time they need to work themselves into your mind, yet change is constant. Highlights? It's all good, but you can start with 'Invocation','Era Vulgaris','In The Halls','Torn','Ritual', and 'Fortapt'.
