why use a drum kit and repeat the same rhythm again and again, and then add some bass here and there? No tension, no drive. Well this is based on the first number.
If you're expecting something in the same vein as "Pressure", you might want to reconsider. This album isn't bad, it's just different. It does have beats, but it's nowhere near as booty-shaking or beat-driven as "Pressure". It's filled more with menacing ambience, and not nearly as death-funk-heavy as something like Techno Animal's "Brotherhood of the Bomb". Still worth checking out, though, if only to complete your Bug collection or have something dark to listen to while staring at your computer screen in your dimly-lit office at your mindless job.
