Info about Tempo Rei

After writing my post re. the wrong artist name, I read the other posts. Like MALUA, I consider myself a love of brazilian music. And I DO like Tempo Rei. They are creating simplistic covers of brazilian hits. The classically trained singer's name is Daria. She delivers the song in a very "clean" style. (Band's home page: http://www.temporei.com/eng/index.html) I agree with ThePedanticPrick and hemisphericalradio, that it is very misleading by Azzurra Music, to put the original artists names in the track title's names. (Azzura music: Some people might call this deceptive or sneaky).

As a Brazilian and lover of Brazilian music, I think the covers are quite fair. I'd just like to have info on the artists, as it really feels like a cheat to sell you "Brazilian" music when the singer has such an accent. I'd rather have it as it is, covers of famous MPB songs by some foreign artist.

The tracks on this CD are all covers by unidentified artists - they are *not* what they appear to be. Don't waste your time or money on this one - you'd be far better off buying downloads by the artists who actually recorded these songs.
