Great reinvention of classics
One of the best things about this album is the way Luka makes these songs his own. Covers albums tend to suffer from the artist striving to put forth the definitive version of their favourite sings. Not so with this collection. Dancing Queen is a prime example. Luka tastefully "de-discoified" the ABBA hit, and while it's considerably more mellow than the original, it still retains its brightness. Even if you think you don't want to download some of these songs because you didn't like the original versions, fear not. These have been remade. It took a few listens to make me realize that that Bad was a U2 song I had disliked. Now I realize I didn't like it the way U2 performed it. I like the song now. Favourite tracks: In Between Days (completely different than the original, and almost as good), Make you Feel My Love, Golden Feather, and If I Were A Carpenter, but really there are no clunkers here.
