Fun but seriously
E-Music, quit labeling an album as "Deal" because you give us three four second silent tracks for free. Just sayin' :D

Saw these guys at SXSW at the Austin City Limits venue... great experience. They provided a nice mood for the evening and they were very talented and poppy, no one thing stood out but I walked away pleased with the whole ensemble and it was enough to get me to buy the album. If you like the Shins, Weezer (without so much distortion), or any toss back to 50's style rock done modern indie style, these guys might be for you.
Great Band -- Great songs. Download Brown Boxes, Late and Mountains. You will like them and sing along to them driving in the car.
I was fortunate enough to see The Spinto Band perform in Toronto a few months ago with Art Brut and We Are Scientists. They were a great opener and displayed heaps of energy on stage. Similarly, this album is very peppy with no disappointing tracks at all. It is simple, melodic, catchy, and well-written. Tracks I enjoy are "Late", "Brown Boxes", and "Oh Mandy". Enjoy!
That's all.
This album is very enjoyable. If you like Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, you might well like The Spinto Band. Upbeat, catchy tunes with often very funny lyrics. The hidden track, "Japan is an Island" is all about Atari, complete with the bleeps and drones of the video game system. Also check out Oh Mandy and Brown Boxes. Clever, catchy, immature but loving it pop music. Nice debut on their part!
