Post Rock at its finest
A Pandora find. Being a fan of Tortoise I am always looking for other great post-rock bands and this definitely filled the void. Minimal but well done and reminiscent of Roots of Orchis meets Trans Am meets Five Style.

Saw these guys live in Chicago after hearing these tracks. Seeing them live was so much better but makes you appreciate even more how these tunes are put together.
I found El Ten Eleven through Pandora. My favorite band is Mogwai and these guys came up on Pandora. YoDude's review is appropriate, but I can't help but think of it occasionally when I listen to this album, which is annoying as I am not a huge fan of chick-flicks. Nonetheless, this is good relaxing instrumental alt-rock type of album and it is similar (but different) to Mogwai
Very enjoyable, but much of the album sounds like the moment in romantic movies when the guy, who has inevitably screwed up, reflects on what is really important in his life (the girl) and how to get her back. I guess I like those movies more than I'd like to admit - at least the ones with good music.
Incredible! Found these guys on a local college station a couple years ago in Detroit. FINALLY they're dropping a new album on us. Can't wait 'til emusic picks it up!
They're powerful. And even more powerful if you get to see the duo live! All guitars are looped live on a double neck bass/guitar. It's like watching a magic show. And very friendly blokes.
This is quite easily the best "post rock" album I've ever heard. For real. Definitely worth the download.
lovely little instrumental record that offers a great deal to people whom appreciate dainogah, unwed sailor or even tortoise. Theres a lot goin on for a duet whom create a nice warm sound that both surprises and soothes. Never heard of em before, its a shame really, givem a go.
this is a great album, my only swerving is one of the best songs ive ever heard. el ten eleven creates a beautiful sound for warm sunny days.
