BOB IN STEREO
Canadian musician and composer Robert Farnon (1917-2005) went to England during World War 2,as a Captain in the Canadian Expeditionary Forces. After the war he settled in the UK and went on to write some of the best light music of the time. His work for Chappell and Co. is unsurpassed and this collection features some of his best known works re-recorded in stereo by The Czecho-Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra of Bratislava, conducted by Adrian Leaper. Farnon was known throughout the musical world as "The Guv'nor" a title given to him by Frank Sinatra, who regarded Bob as the greatest arranger he had worked with. High praise indeed.
