Excellent

Comrade

I've never heard of Ian Brown but found this album through eMusic's linking system and gave it a shot. I really love it! The songs are a brilliant mix of rock, pop and electronica. Very well done, Ian's voice is great and I love the british accent coming through.

a fun mix of tunes

KingMonkey

not the most consistent of artists - this LP captures Browno at his best one song after another. if you get into the sound then this is a string of really groovy songs that will keep a smile on your face.

King Monkey!

jamiesuth

The original and best. While his contempories endlessly churn out re-hashed versions of their early material, Ian Brown has kept his sound fresh. Think John Squire was wrong when he branded Brown a "Tuneless Kn*b".

Underrated (except by himself)

tominportland

Ian Brown's solo work has always been adventurous and unique. Not necessarily guaranteed you'll like it if you like Stone Roses, but for any fan of Britpop/electronica, this is a good place to start. The collaborations with UNKLE are especially interesting.
