YAY! Hidden Cameras...finally!

I've been waiting for a very long time for the Hidden Cameras to show up on emu! And this is a good ep to check them out if you haven't heard them before. I will warn you though that behind the perfect jangly pop lies some pretty shocking lyrics at times, for some anyway. Download this before Ecce Homo (also on emu), though...and for the love of God, go by The Smell of Our Own (one of my favorites of all time, but not on emu...yet)! This is good but track 4 is a KILLER tune

The whole EP is high quality stuff - tracks 1 thru 3 are really good uptempo guitary - kind of indie/garage-y/Nuggets type things. But the real find is track 4 (Death of a tune) which is a gorgeous little folk-inflected song with acoustic guitar and organ. It has a fabulous tune, and what sound like quite heavy lyrics. I'll be finding my way to a Hidden Cameras album very soon now, I should imagine...
