A blend of funk and jazz with some electronica thrown in and some nice free-form jamming, this album grabbed me from the first listen. It's wonderful to listen to, but not so catchy that it's annoying. I've rated it 4 stars, but can see it moving to 5 soon.
I absolutely love this recording its wide and varied, accessible and gets played at least once a week at the moment
I'd never heard of Polar Bear until I saw them live, which blew me away. The drummer is just incredible. I like this album because it reminds me of the live show, but I would have never normally bought it.
