True worship

This was my first Chris Rice album and I'm so glad I bought it. He is one of my favorite artists and I now have all of his albums. Chris Rice has a rich voice that combined with inspirational lyrics can soothe your worries. My favorite song from this album is 'Wind and Spirit' for its rich description of a Summer's storm. Also noteworthy are 'The Power of a Moment', 'Naive' and 'And Your Praise Goes On'. My favorite aspect of his music is his way of guiding you instead of preaching. As he shares his journey with you he is always singing alongside you, instead of at you.

And Your Praise Goes on...

Clereece

No one sings praise quite like Chris Rice. The song "And Your Praise Goes On" is sheer praise poetry.

If you enjoy Rich Mullins work ( and I am sure Chris is tired of that comment), you will like Chris Rice. The music is solid, storytelling, and faithful. Enjoy.

In 1998, Rocketown Records released singer and songwriter Chris Rice’s project Past the Edges. A blend of CCM and inspirational seasoned with acoustic folk, the album features multiple radio singles, including the quirky “Smellin’ Coffee” and the vulnerable, questioning “Big Enough.” An album highlight is “Cartoons,” which is located as a hidden track following the project’s closing song, “Missin’ You.” – Ashleigh Kittle
