Itay is on to something
I like Itay's direction. He's developing his own sound and gets points for trying to bring the chill/downtempo and roots/dub genres into a workable symbiosis. I really do feel where this is going although I honestly feel that he needs some more smoothing over. Heck, a release of this album he's still just 28 years old. For instance, at the beginning of Siako Dub, he's doing some interesting moves musically and them, as a petit climax prior to the body proper of the song he lets loose with a a good 5 seconds of a dissonance. I'll be keeping my eye on Itay.
