A tongue-in-cheek masterwork of sorts
Without its liners it is hard to tell exactly what the story in this massive album is saying, but the gist appears to be this: Some rock stars get a conscience about how they make their money. If you don't take it seriously, it's very humorous, spoofs of Roger Watters (Pink Floyd), Pete Townshend (The Who), David Bowie, and really all forms of Progressive and Art Rock take their shots here. If you ignore the lyrics, you may think you're listening to an album from the 70's.
