Good overview
This is not Josh White's best collection, but it does give a very good picture of the range of tunes he was doing at the time. I was very glad to get the cuts with Libby Holman...These tunes are hard to find, and I was delighted to see them included. White's guitar playing throughout is superb, and no matter what the idiom, his playing is clever and appropriate.
