Fantastic Find!
As a fairly knowledgeable Stax scholar, I'm always on the lookout for hidden soul gems from the 60s + 70s that have fallen through the cracks. Great stuff on here, well put together collection and sounds GOOD.

Can you even imagine a time when there were tons of strictly local acts in every city doing music like this? I think America peaked and I missed it. Also, another reason to love Detroit.
Real Detroit Funk
I bought this in vinyl @ a vrgn megastore with my fingaz crossed. I was on vacation and I wouldnt be listening to it till a week later. When I got home, put the needle on tha record and just grinned. Excelent stuff. Lots of grooves. Nice detroit funk.
