I first heard 'Coolidge' in Vision Skateboard's Psycho Skate video in the eighties. It's been my personal anthem ever since.

Poppy but Classic
Unfortunately, I will have to agree with the previous reviewer that gave props to the Descendents and how they formed the sound and culture for the new pop bands like Green Day and Blink 182. It's somewhat sad, because back in the day the Descendents were a fresh sound and were on the more "nerdy" side of punk rock. I don't like the new pop garbage out there, but the Descendents are definately a positive change of pace from other bands in the genre and it's quite refreshing. If you're going to purchase any album by the Descendents, I would go with this one ("Somery") or "Everything Sux". An especially good track to check out on this album is "Sour Grapes."

Greatest hits
This is the best of the old stuff...all excellent. I actually have 2 of these CDs for my home and for my car. By the way, their newer material is just as good.
