Huh?

YouKnowMe

Not my cup . . . well, this you've heard before. Most of this album is CSN's "Guinnevere" with varying lyrics. Of course, the harmonies fall a bit short of that standard. Also, the disc probably belongs in the "folk" category. . . . It's not all bad, though: "These Lonesome Days" & "Beautiful Today" may be worth the dl.

A Gem Among Albums

AliciaLMc

If you're tired of the same overly- produced, uncreative pop music, then this album will restore your faith in the genre. The melodies and harmonies are more complex than your average pop, showcasing the extremely talented performers. This is great music. You won't regret trying it out!

What a great find!

I just happened onto these guys in MySpace and boy am I glad I did! I never tire of this "formula".... Solid songwriting, ringing guitars and lush harmonies, great percussion and an absolutely stellar production sound, intricate but not too slick and not too "indie" sounding either. Broadly speaking, my ears tell me that Copperdown's antecedents would be some of my fave all-time bands: the Byrds, Badfinger, Big Star and the Raspberries. But like Velvet Crush in their prime, they have mixed these influences, and many more I'm sure, into an engaging White Soul soufflé all their own. Music to incorporate into your life on a permanent basis. Definitely worth a download!! Enjoy! :-)
