Interesting in a historical way.. but lacking the power and energy of later work. I was only able to download some of the tracks, mostly ballads, some in English. The English cover of End of the World was sweet. Suggest the song Nothing to Lose on the compilation album is a better choice for people who want to find out about Cui Jian. There's some good videos on Youtube. Or better yet - emusic needs to GET MORE CUI JIAN!
