between K&D and Roni Size
This is awesome stuff. The Angel (aka 60 Channels) has produced an well put together album of sonic delights. Her style is heavy on the dub reggae feel of drum n bass, but tightly put into sounds that range from a bit more bashment, to songs that are like massive attack, dark and chill, to sounds a bit peepy with some guitar and breakbeats for the dnb fans. The album is very much an album, songs arranged in a good order. Some vocals, some none, two songs very short provide awesome interludes. This stuff is a sonic masterpiece that gets the toes tapping, blood rushing, and mind dreaming. Place this on your shelf next to you copy of K&D sessions and Roni Size. Music truly sent to earth from an angel.
