A departure from "Man Mountain", for sure, this fuzzed-out shoegaze-ish album didn't agree with me at first. But after repeated listens, a love affair blossomed. "The Last Blast" ended up on repeat for 2 days straight, and then "For a Lifetime" after that. Great production, great lyrics with just enough abstraction to keep you thinking, and good songwriting. MrFunk hits it pretty well with the Sigur Ros + The Bends analogy.

The best band you've never heard of. My favorite is "The Last Blast". It what it might have sounded like if Sigur Ros had written Radiohead's The Bends.
My ears did not fully agree with this album at first. However something posessed me to listen to it three more times on repeat. Now I absoluely adore it. There are some albums that are like that. Give them time and they ripen. If you get to this album-- make sure that you play it at least twice through. I promise you it will grow on you.
