A little more edge...
Among the latest indie pop/rock selections, which feature jangly/ringing guitars and bright melodies (no law against it nor should there be), TWM brings a bit more edge. This edge pushes them toward a shadowy power pop that reminds one of Radio City (as opposed to the brighter #1 Record of Big Star). This is not to say they sound like Big Star, but have used more minor keys and added a sharper edge than most indie pop or rock bands of late. "Modern Text on Love" and "Northern Lights" are my favorite tracks...
