Mi3 is Kindofa Silly Formula

I don't know why Kevin Whitehead or others promote this group. It's a little silly. They do a Monkish thing whether it's Monk's compositiion or their own. the don't just play slow, but they draaag it to find a Monk Sphere, which isn't very Monk like btw. Then they mix in a synthesizer or electric piano to change things up. However, nothing really imaginative, fun, fresh or really interesting arises from their formula, and yes, it's a mere formula. It's not really made in the tradition progressive jazz or creativity.
