ok, if you've ever read any of the Rolling Stone articles about the relationship between Otis and the Stones, listening to his version of Satisfaction will be well worth your time. Good stuff, just wish i'd gotten to it while it was free...o well, i'll put it on my wish list and come back to it. :)

They are all great tracks but are not free downloads. At least not to Canada, where it shows up as "emusic exclusive"
This is a GREAT selection from Stax, the down-home & gritty counterpart to Motown. Where else could you find Otis Redding doing a high octane cover of the Stones' "Satisfaction," with a live version of the funk classic "Green Onions," with gospel (Staples Singers), with guitar monster blues (Albert King and Stevie Ray Vaughan), with . . . you get the idea. Now get the download.

If it is no longer free, then think for a moment, and realize that you've got "Green Onions," "I'll Take You There," and "Who's Making Love" on the same album, along with Otis Redding and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
