Good jogging pace

ebrenn1

I'm on here to get music to walk and run to. I don't run very fast, so this music is just right to run to. It has just enough warmth that it adds to the encouragement I need. You could also walk to it but it's a little faster than the chillout I like to walk to. Sorry this review is not more musically knowledgeable but I can sort of tell that house has more warmth than the colder techno stuff I also run to, and that's why I recommend this.

Here and Now - foundation house

peterjolly

This album is a must-have for house lovers. Its also a must-have for those into chillout, or electronica. Absolutely brillant. Outstanding tracks are - "Its you, its me","Samba love", Let you go" (absolute Gold), "steppin out","still, still still". But seriously just download the whole album.

Give Kaskade a Listen

yourtrainer

To those that have never had the pleasure of seeing Kaskade live or any of his music: give this a listen. Big hits: Steppin Out, Everything, It's You It's Me...there are many others. Some may say he sold out and is mainstream, to be honest, I'm surprised his tracks aren't played on regular radio. He's mellow, smooth, and makes great beats...a little more chill.

REPACKAGE LAND BUT GREAT FOR NEW FANS

EMUSIC-Sebastian

KASKADE is without a doubt the BOMB! And he is one of most loved downloads on Emusic. But man you gotta come out with some NEW tracks, remixes or what have you. This repackaged stuff and re-shuffling of tracks around BS has gotta stop. I'm sure any Emusic or Kaskade fan would easily agree. Hopefully Emusic will get his new release "The Calm". But on a postive upside note: For a new fan of Kaskade this is a one stop shop of all the "MUST HAVE" Kaskade downloads.

They Say All Media Guide

For most house artists, emotional engagement isn’t really the point; the involvement they’re trying to inspire is mainly physical, and that often leads to a certain predictability in the music. Ryan Raddon (aka Kaskade) is a bright and shining exception to that rule, a master of club conventions who never seems to allow himself to coast or phone it in. He also seems to be a connoisseur of good singing voices, intelligent lyrics, and uplifting melodic hooks as much as he is a lover of thumping foursquare beats, which means that his albums tend to be highly listenable as pop music, not just as utilitarian dancefloor fodder. Here and Now, a generously packed two-disc set, collects all of his single releases along with B-sides and other rarities not previously released on a Kaskade album, and it doesn’t disappoint. Fans will already be familiar with such popular fare as the soulful and joyous “Gonna Make It,” the subtly jungle-flavored “Peace on Earth,” and the gorgeous “It’s You, It’s Me,” but non-completists may be hearing the rhythmically tricky “This Rhythm” and the surprisingly dubbed-up funk-reggae of “My Name” for the first time. The real treat is Kaskade’s caressingly beautiful arrangement of the classic Christmas hymn “Still, Still, Still,” previously available only on the Home for the Holidays [OM] collection. Despite one or two slightly less exciting tracks, this is an excellent overview of the work one of dance music’s most exciting talents. – Rick Anderson
