One of my all-time favorite songs
Ever gone though a divorce? How about a break up with a significant other? Colin Hay has written one of my all-time favorite songs, I Just Don't Think I'll Ever Get Over You. Beautiful & bittersweet.

This is the very definition of easy listening...and so much better than Going Somewhere. A few jarring moments but on the whole...I like it a lot!!
I love these songs. The few accoustic ones are great, in fact I'm very fond of Colin's solo songs( "going somewhere" is a delight to me). The rest, the electric songs, are very fine rock-pop. There's depth to what Colin creates, and his voice is one of the best. I find the melodies and arrangments quite excellent. I can't believe this wasn't released in the USA! Thanx e-music for this treat!
The e-Music reviewer who said that the acoustic numbers on this album were, "utterly depressing and uninspired," is either 10 years old, never been in love, or doesn't like acoustic music. Utterly depressing? Well, yeah, but in such a GOOD way! But uninspired? ABSOLUTELY NOT! In fact, they speak to what insipration IS: honest, heartfelt, real. Come on e-Music. Everything doesn't have to be f**king Deerhoof or Jesus Lizard to be good. Appreciate this for what it is, a GREAT album. And btw, not all the tracks are slow acoustic tunes. My Brilliant Feet, If I Go, Freedom Calling, all good songs by any standard. America needs to wake up to Colin Hay. He's amazing and this album proves it. Go see him live too, he's an amazing frontman and showman. You'll laugh, you'll cry, it's better than Cats...
