Great New Versions of Classic Doo Wop
Great harmony and different enough from the originals that you know they're not just trying to copy the classic treatments. Glad to see that the music of my teen years still lives.

Superb!!
Singing some well known classics in 4-part harmony a cappella Doo Wop, this collection of songs will not disappoint either the 50s enthusiast or the first time Doo Wop listener. Played these to my 19yo music student daughter who’s face instantly lit up with pleasure. Both she and I are hooked! When singing without the support of backing instruments it’s essential that the notes are hit spot on pitch wise and that the arrangement and harmonies are rich and deep ….. on both accounts this collection is almost faultless. The bass voice is to die for and whilst there is at times a slightly contemporary slant (especially in the tenor’s singing style) does not detract. The sound reproduction is superb. Well done Mighty Echoes ….. can we have some more please :-)
